Hello everyone,
How are you all beauties? I hope you people are enjoying monsoon to the fullest😍 You know, this New Year, I promised myself that I won’t buy anything (makeup/dress/skin care) until and unless I have finished the current one or I’m in need of that item practically. BUT, as usual, couldn’t resist my urge and I ended up shopping. It’s my birthday month after all!!He he, lame excuse 😜 But, on a serious note, as my skin and I are growing old, I do feel it is high time to include some more essential products to my existing skin care regime. So lovelies read ahead to explore the products that I have purchased this month. Keep scrolling!
Yay, finally I have bought this highly raved makeup removing micellar solution. Well, as of now, I am fully satisfied with my Nivea Micellar wipes but I also wanted to try out a good, gentle makeup-remover like this! The product cleanses skin, removes makeup and soothes sensitive skin and this small bottle would last me long. To maintain a good flawless skin, it's necessary to use a good makeup remover too aside cleansers. I have already used it twice to remove my makeup and it works ahh-mazing😍.
Bioderma Sensible H2O Micellar Solution |
Do I need to give any introduction to this beauty? I was overjoyed to see this product here in one of the Indian stores. My husband is a true fan of Himalaya Herbals Neem face wash and this time, we got Neem scrub also along with it as a freebie! Double Dhamaka😉 Only one thing I dislike about this brand is, they never disclose their full ingredient list and highlights only the active and the inactive! I’ll soon publish my full reviews on these two, stay tuned!
Gulsha Ultimate Rose Water For Pure Radiant Skin:
While writing my reviews on Rosa Damascena soap and Rose EO, I went through a lot of articles on Rosa Damascena species. The more I read, the more it amazed me! The rose water contains no parabens, no alcohol, no glycol, no synthetic colourants and no synthetic perfumes. By the way, my skin loves using rose infused beauty products and I wanted to buy a pure rose water this time. After using it for last few days, the result is visible! Wait for my full detailed review on this, sweeties.
BORGHESE Fluido Protettivo Eye Serum:
I had been looking out for an under-eye cream for a long time. I was using a medicated eye ointment previously but after that got finished, I didn’t buy any cream. Recently I noticed some fine lines and redness right around my eyes and I knew I had to do something to diminish them. This brand is new to me but SA reassured me that it’s a wonderful eye cream, so bought it without checking its reviews. Back home, when I searched it online, found it has loads of chemicals which are terrible to digest. But the best part is it works great in removing the puffiness and the fine lines, making the eye area smooth and polished. However, I will keep a check on it and will update you all with a full detailed review soon.
Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser- Deep Restore:
This product was not on my wish-list yet I purchased it this month. At present, I am on 'empty-current-stock' phase, so it was definitely a bad decision to buy this product before finishing the current body lotion. It's a non-greasy body lotion with micro-droplets of Vaseline jelly that gets absorbed in seconds to help restore the appearance of dry skin. This lightweight body lotion is apt for summer and monsoon seasons but the spray packaging doesn't seem travel-convenient.

The Body Shop VITAMIN E Overnight Serum-in-oil:
Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser |
The facial serum is a new addition to my skincare arsenal! This is a two-in-one product but I would call it serum rather than oil because of its lightweight essence texture. This overnight serum-in-oil with protective vitamin E and moisturising Wheatgerm oil is all that I needed to make my dull skin softer and brighter. It is suitable for all skin types and contains some good skin-friendly ingredients. I have already included this item in my daily skin care regimen. As of now, I love its brightening effects on my skin.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Essential Oil:
I was running out of my Fabindia Tea Tree oil, so thought of buying another bottle and what would be better than TBS one! I have read good reviews about this product, hope this will help banish sudden acne breakouts. By the way, it is suitable for blemished skin😊
Price & Quantity: 89HKD for 10ml
The Body Shop Nutrigenics Smoothing Night Cream:
My current night cream is about to finish so I was on a lookout for an organic product this time. After doing an extensive research on all brands (and the ingredients) available here, I found that Nutrigenics range of The Body Shop is its first certified organic skin care range hence purchased their smoothing night cream. It claims to be an extra rich, softens and reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It contains no parabens and no silicones! Now, waiting to get my current cream finished fully before I start using this night cream. I shall update you soon.
Price & Quantity: 309 HKD for 50ml

Batiste Dry Shampoo (I know it’s for hair, CHORRY!):
Okay, now this was also not on my wishlist still purchased! Usually, I don’t experiment with my hair that much but then without doing any experiment how would I know if a product is good or bad! Right? I have planned to include it in my travel essentials, let’s see, how it fares! I haven’t tried this yet, would let you know after its thorough usages.

This month, I didn't buy any scrub or face pack separately but being a sheet mask fan, I had to buy some Innisfree Sheet masks! In addition to these, I also purchased some round pieces of cotton (for making eye-pads/makeup removal), soft dry facial tissues (must-have) and birthday dress (obvious 😃). This time, I bought no makeup products, only these special SKINCARE products to even out my skin tone and improve the skin texture.
