Seduction could be described as the Italian
Lolita. It is a film very similar in tone and theme to
Lolita. Since this had the potential to go horribly wrong it is just as well that this was directed by the extremely able
Fernando DiLeo. Just imagine how awful and tasteless it could have been if directed by
Andrea Bianchi or
Joe D'Amato.
The subject matter is handled in a sensitive way by the man who brought us
Milano Calibro 9.
The "Lolita" in question was played by a 21 year old
Jenny Tamburi who went on to appear in
Lucio Fulci's
The Psychic, a few sex films and an
Andrea Bianchi comedy.
