OK, the story goes that Gregor Reid and Crawford Tait met while working at Acme Library of Recorded Music for Film and Television in the early '70s. Now if Domino Records is to be believed the music on this album comes from that era and was only recently discovered!This is a modern album by the duo who go by the name of "Cinema Recorded Music Library" (or just "Cinema") and it aims to emulate those old library LP's.
Here we have some wonderfully evocative soundscapes that force you to imagine rain drenched Eastern-European streets in a fog-shrouded world of mystery and intrigue...Excellent!
